Itinerary - KASHMIR LADAKH SPECIAL 8 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS
- In your best interest, sometimes you may need to make necessary modifications to your vacation itinerary. Where practical, we will advise you before you leave your home town, although we may occasionally be forced to make changes along the way. We will keep you informed at all times.
- Bad weather in mountainous regions can cause flight delays. These problems mainly occur in the Ladakh region of India. If the delay is prolonged, it may be necessary for us to reroute the walk and tour, perhaps to an area more easily accessible by road transport. We accept no liability for charges incurred as a result of flight delays and missed international flight connections. However, we will do our best to help you.
- You understand and agree that the proposed tour may expose you to levels of physical exertion to which you may not be accustomed or expose you to hazards inherent in traveling through remote areas which may be subject to, among other things, political, physical, sanitary or climatic conditions. By agreeing to use our services, you accept these dangers and unfavorable conditions.
- You must purchase comprehensive travel insurance that includes a provision for helicopter rescue when you pay your deposit.
- We strongly recommend that you visit your doctor and dentist before your vacation. You should consult your doctor about current vaccination requirements. Full details of pre-existing medical conditions must be sent to us when booking. Elderly clients or clients with pre-existing medical conditions may require a letter from their doctor clearing them for the trek and Beyond Himalayas Pvt. Limited. Limited. Ltd. reserves the right to verify these documents before confirmation of tours and treks.
- A valid passport is required for all tourists. Passports must be valid for a minimum of six months from the start of the trip, with at least two clean pages per country to visit.
- A valid visa is required for the entire destination. You should always consult your doctor or the nearest travel clinic for the latest information on recommended health precautions, both vaccination and malaria prophylaxis.
- Complete medical kits are carried on all trips. Additionally, medical oxygen and portable altitude chambers are carried as a precaution on high-altitude hikes and climbing expeditions. All meals during the trek are prepared specifically for your group with strict hygiene standards and sterile washing facilities are provided.
- Altitude sickness can affect anyone. Serious problems are avoided by incorporating rest and acclimatization. For normal symptoms, a drop in altitude or time in a portable acclimatization chamber leads to a rapid recovery.
- Travel insurance that includes helicopter evacuation is highly valued.
- Customers over the age of sixty must complete a personal and medical travel history questionnaire. People under the age of sixteen can join specific family outings and private groups.
DAY 01
ARRIVAL IN SRINAGAR
Upon arrival, you will be cordially greeted at the airport and transferred to the houseboat. Upon arrival at the airport in the evening, we will warmly welcome you and transfer you to the houseboat on Dal Lake. Enjoy a serene Shikara ride on the Dal Lake, followed by a visit to the Shankaracharya Temple for stunning views. End the day with a cup of traditional Kashmiri Kahwa tea and rest well for the journey ahead.
DAY 02
GULMARG TOUR
Today we will visit Gulmarg to enjoy the gondola ride. The trip will take us through beautiful apple orchards. Walk through the beautiful grasslands of Kashmir and experience the famous valley drive. In the afternoon, return and relax on your beautiful houseboat.
DAY 03
SRINAGAR TO KARGIL
After breakfast, we will start our journey towards Kargil. It will take you approximately 7 hours of beautiful journey to reach Kargil, crossing Zojila Pass (zero point), one of the many high mountain passes through Trans Himalayas journey, then we will visit famous war memorial museum in Kargil and We will drive through the picturesque Suru Valley. Upon arrival, we will check into the hotel and rest overnight. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
DAY 04
KARGIL TO LEH
After an early breakfast, we will begin our journey towards Leh. On the way we will visit the famous Lamayuru Monastery, a lunar landscape for its magnificent view. We will also pass through the confluence of Indus Zanskar, Magnetic hill and Gurudwara Pathar sahib to receive blessings and Kada Prasad. The beautiful route passing through small Himalayan villages and stunning landscapes will take us to Leh.
DAY 05
LEH TO NUBRA
Wake up to the fresh and pious air of Leh city and soon embark on your journey to the stunning Valley of Flowers, Nubra. Upon reaching Hunder Village, we will visit the future 100-foot Buddha statue and take a look at the Karakoram mountain ranges and far below the Nubra Valley. In the cold sand dunes of the desert, enjoy the double hump camel safari. Spend the afternoon in nature.
DAY 06
PNUBRA TO PANGONG
Travel along the sparkling Shayok River to Pangong Tso and relax savoring the beauty of the iridescent lake. An enchanting high altitude lake, famous for its ever-changing shades of blue and stunning panoramic views of the surrounding Himalayan mountains.
DAY 07
PANGONG TO LEH
When the early sun rises on the stillness of Pangong Lake, one must make the most of it. We will take a walk around the serene lake, immersing ourselves in the divinity of the simple life of the locals and discovering their many stories. After breakfast, we will depart back towards Leh. In the evening, spend time shopping for souvenirs and gifts for friends and family at Leh Market.
DAY 08
LEH DELHI DEPARTURE
After breakfast, leave to catch your flight on time to continue the journey with sweet memories of the tour.
