DAY 01
Arrival in Cochin
Our representative will receive you on arrival at Cochin airport and transfer you to the hotel. Complete the check – in formalities, relax at the room. Later proceed for the sightseeing of Cochin.
Cochin comprises of many islands which is connected with mainland Ernakulam. Today Cochin is a cosmopolitan city and also known as Queen of Arabian Sea. Cochin is an important port town from ancient times when spices where traded from here to Gulf Countries and that trade is still on from here. The places of sightseeing interest in Cochin are famous Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace), Jewish Synagogue, Santa Cruz Basilica and St. Francis Church and in the evening you can enjoy the Kathakali Dance Show. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Cochin.
DAY 02
Cochin – Munnar By Road 140 kms
Post breakfast we will transfer you from Cochin to Munnar by scenic road journey of 140 kms. Arrive at Munnar, check - in and relax at the hotel. Munnar a very popular hill station of Southern India which is visited by honeymoon couples a lot. Munnar at an altitude of 1700 meters above the sea level offered pleasant climate through the year and vast expenses of tea estates and greenery all round and lakes created by dams is a real treat to eyes. This day is free to relax or free for your activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel in Munnar.
DAY 03
Munnar
On this day after breakfast enjoy the sightseeing of Munnar which includes the visit of Christ Church and visit of Erivakulam National Park – home of endangered mountain goat “Nilgiri Thar”. Munnar offers many picnic spots like Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Blossom Park and more. Also Munnar offers good hiking and trekking places. By evening return to the hotel and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel in Munnar.
DAY 04
Munnar – Thekkady By Road 110 kms
On the 04th day of this tour, we will transfer you to Thekkady after breakfast. Reach Thekkady, check – in and relax at the hotel. Later proceed for the visit of Periyar National Park and here you can enjoy the boat ride at Periyar Lake and then visit spice garden and visit spice market of Kumily. Later day is free to relax or free for activities of your interest. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Thekkady.
DAY 05
Thekkady – Alleppey By Road 129 kms
This morning after breakfast we will transfer you to Alleppey by road journey of 129 kms. Reach Alleppey and do the check – in formalities before boarding the beautiful houseboat which is traditionally known as Kettuvallam. Houseboat has all amenities for a night stay along with in-house trained cook and the controller of the boat. A boat cruises through backwater canals surrounded by palm coconut grooves and paddy fields. As the boat cruise you will see the daily routine life of the villagers and more. Overnight stay will be at houseboat.
DAY 06
Alleppey – Kovalam By Road
On the sixth day of the tour after breakfast disembark from the houseboat. We will transfer you to beautiful beach destination Kovalam. Reach Kovalam, check – in at the hotel and relax. Kovalam is place for complete relaxation, peaceful and serene environment, no hustle and bustle of city life.
Later in the day you can visit the beaches of Kovalam and the main beaches are Light House Beach and Samudra Beach and enjoy the water sport activities or you can relax and rejuvenate your body with Ayurveda massage from the numerous Ayurveda centers spread all around.
Overnight stay will be hotel in Kovalam.
DAY 07
Kovalam – Kanyakumari – Kovalam
On the seventh day of the tour, we will take you for excursion of Kanyakumari also known as Cape Comorin. Kanyakumari is a very popular site on religious tourist circuit of South India. Visit the beach side and temples. On the way back visit Padmanbhapuram Palace – an architectural marvelous built during 16th Century. The Palace houses 17th &18th century murals, windows with coloured mica, royal chairs and Chinese Carvings. Here in the Queen Palace see the painted ceilings, rose wood and teak carved ceiling in 90 different floral designs. By evening reach Kovalam, relax at the hotel or beach side.
Overnight stay will be at hotel in Kovalam.
DAY 08
Kovalam – Trivandrum
Today post breakfast enjoys the morning sightseeing of Trivandrum and later we will transfer you Trivandrum airport to board the flight back to home with sweet memories of the tour.
