Holi is a religious festival celebrated by Hindus all over the world. Holi is considered as second biggest festival on Hindu calendar after Diwali. Holi is also known as festival of Colors. Holi celebration begins with lighting up of bonfire on the Holi eve. Numerous legends & stories associated with Holi celebration makes the festival more exuberant and vivid. People rub 'gulal' and 'abeer' on each others' faces and cheer up saying, "bura na maano Holi hai" (Don’t get offended, it’s Holi!).     Day 01

    Delhi Arrival

    Breakfast at the hotel.

    After the delicious first meal of the day, we shall leave the hotel for full day sightseeing.

    New Delhi, reflecting the legacy of the British who left the time ago. The division between New and Old Delhi is the division between the capitals of the British and the Mughals, respectively. The division into the walled city and New Delhi also marks the split between lifestyles. The walled city is all tradition, will be able to pick up a past lifestyle in all its facets, colors and spells. New Delhi, on the other hand, is a city that tries to live up to the best standards of the 21st century.

    Imperial Delhi will include the Qutub Minar, the tallest tower in India. The tour also includes a drive beyond the imposing Indian Gate, Parliament Building and Rastrapathi Bhawan, the president's residence

    Day 02

    Delhi

    Day 03

    Delhi

    The guided tour of Old Delhi, the capital of the Mughals.

    We start our tour by exploring Old Delhi. Our first visit would be to the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, profoundly known as the Father of Nation. A simple black stone sanatorium which marks the spot of criminationwith an immortal flame burning at one end, as a gratitude to a person who changed the history of this sub-continent and of the world with his great ideologies.

    Next we speculate is the impressive sandstone edifice, Red Fort, which was authorized by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1963 and this construction served as the center of operations for at least two centuries. This iconic symbol of India is used as a platform by the Prime Minister of India to address the public and hoist the National flag on Independence Day.

    Then we board you on Rickshaw and take you to ride to Jama Masjid, the largest Mosque in Asia, through the intricate lanes of Old Delhi. Speculating the monument from outside, we shall observe the towering domes and skyscrapers which looks like an Arabian Night.

    Enjoy the walk of the streets of Chandni Chowk. After lunch a visit to Akshardham temple and lotus temple.

    Day 04

    By Flight Delhi to Udaipur:

    Breakfast at Hotel.

    Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Udaipur.

    Arrival at Maharana Pratap Airport and then transfer to hotel.

    Often recognized as the city of lakes, Udaipur besets itself in the Aravalli hills is one of the most romantic and beautiful cities in the country. The city gives great encouragement to the writers to have out of the box imagination because the city has an alluring blend of sight, sound and experience. Udaipur is the center for crafts, performing arts and is also recognized for its miniature paintings.

    The jag Niwas located in the center of Pichola Lake is the perfect example for architectural wonder. The Shilpgram festival in Udaipur attracts numerous tourists inthe New Year.

    Day 05

    City Palace: the monumental City Palace, situated on the banks of the Lake Pichola built with the fusion of Mughal and Rajasthani style adds to the beauty of this magnificent city. The palace was built over 400 years and was contributed by many dynasties in its construction. Perched on the hilltop the palace provides a scenic view of the city. The largest palace of its kind in the state. The palace comprises of arches, towers, and domes which add to the flavor of the heritage site. The city is a treat to the eyes as it comprises of alluring hanging gardens, terraces, corridors, courtyards, pavilions, and rooms. This monumental structure is built in marble and granite with 11 different palaces built by different emperors, but they are still similar to each other.

    Saheliyon Ki Bari: Maharana Sangram Singh builds this in the middle of the 18th century. The 'Garden of the Maidens' brings to mind the lifestyle of the ladies of the court. The beautiful gardens appear discreet and in an impeccable taste. There are four pools with delicate kiosks, and all are flowers, gardens, pools and fountains protected by a series of walls and trees.

    Jagdish Temple: The temple is located in the center of the city. The Jagannath Rai Temple, which is now called Jagdish-ji, is an important monument and should be considered carefully. Raised on a high terrace and completed in 1651, it is a tribute to both the tenacity of its builders and the resilience of the art tradition it represents.

    Bagore Ki Haveli: This is a very nice old building built on the waterfront of Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat. Amir Chand Badwa, the Mewar Prime Minister was built in the 18th century. The palace has over one hundred rooms and a very interesting display of costumes and modern art. The glass and mirror inside the delicate work Haveli and well preserved as well. In the evening the Rajasthan dance program in Bagore Ki haveli.

    Day 06

    Drive 5 hours Udaipur – Ranakpur – Jodhpur

    City Tour of Jodhpur.

    On the route you will visit the TEMPLES OF RANAKAPUR, dating from the 15th century. The 200 pillars, between which none of them are the same and support the 29 rooms. The building is full of intricate friezes and sculptures. Includes visits to two Jain temples and temple of sun, with their erotic sculptures.

    Set at the edge of the Thar Desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of the desert. Once the capital of the Marwar state, it was founded in 1459 AD by Rao Jodha-chief of the RATHORE clan of Rajputs who claimed to be descendants of Rama – the epic hero of the RAMAYANA. The massive 15th century AD Mehrangarh Fort looms on the top of a rocky hill, soaring 125 Mts. Above the plains. A high wall – 10 km long with 8 gates and innumerable bastions encompasses the city.

    Day 07

    Umaid Bhawan Palace: The romantic Umaid Bhawan Palace was built for the purpose of employing the people of Jodhpur, during a prolonged shortage. The royal family of Jodhpur still lives in a part of the palace. Another part of the palace houses a well-preserved museum, displaying an incredible array of Maharajah and royal family elements - weapons, antiques and fascinating watches, crockery and trophies.

    Mehrangarh Fort: Situated on a steep hill, Mehrangarh is one of the largest fort in India. The beauty and grandeur of the numerous palaces of the fortress tell a saga of hard sandstones that give the chisels of the skilled sculptors Jodhpuri. Mehrangarh Fort, stretching over 5 km on a perpendicular hill and looking down 125 meters, presents a majestic view on the city skyline. It was built on the advice of a saint in 1459 to establish a sturdy barracks.

    Jaswant Thada: Near the fort complex, is Jaswant Thada. This 19th century royal cenotaph, built in white marble, commemorating the Maharaja Jaswant Singh II and other three cenotaphs, standing nearby.

    We proceed from a safari in 4/4 jeeps to a rural part of Rajasthan in all its splendor. The appointment with the expert team at KAKANI village to start the "Rural and Rustic Experience" in which you are engaging in an off-road adventure through the mid-arid desert of Rajasthani has a rare view of the rich culture and the true essence of India.

    Jodhpur - Jaipur drive 5 hours

    Jaipur is the capital of the state of Rajasthan, a romantic kingdom of resplendent palaces, powerful fortresses and royal Maharajas residing in the western deserts and is a unique landscape in India. Proudly belonging to the castrated warrior caste and fiercely independent, the princes of Rajputs made fearsome enemies. However, many of them realized that to maintain their wealth and local authority, it was convenient to proclaim loyalty to the central power. In this way, they could enjoy a privileged position with the Mughal emperors and also the British Raj that followed.

    In the evening witness the bonfire of Holika Dahan ceremony where an effigy of the demon Holika burns with much fanfare and beat of drums, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. Later, we will enjoy a traditional dinner with the show puppetry.

    Day 09

    Jaipur

    Breakfast at the hotel. It will soon be time to participate in the famous HOLI festival in India. Holi has been photographed, filmed and written thousands of times but you will be a privileged protagonist of this party of color and joy.

    In Holi, a slightly perfumed, organic powder in vibrant red, green and blue colors is played with "abeer and gulal". The water sprinkles on the participants, leaving them multicolored.

    At night experience at Nahargarh fort. Enjoy the view of the pink city from its ramparts.

    Day 10

    Jaipur

    A morning excursion to Amber Fort, after breakfast.

    Amber Fort Palace: Amber is the classic of Jaipur. Its construction was initiated by Man Singh I in 1592, and completed by its descendant Jai Singh I. Its formidable exteriors hide an inner paradise where a beautiful fusion of Hindu Mughal styles and finds its maximum expression.

    City Palace: A delicious mix of Mughal and traditional architecture of Rajasthan, the city palace stretches over a seventh part of the walled city area. It houses the Chandra Mahal, Shri Govind Dev Temple and the City Palace Museum.

    Jantar Mantar: This is the largest and best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different parts of the country. This observatory consists of instruments of extraordinary size and still in use.

    Hawa Mahal: The ornamental facade of this "Palace of the Winds" is an emblem of the city of Jaipur. It is a five-story, pink sandstone structure inlaid with fine trellis plaster and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Taj was a royal tribune for the women of the palace.

    Day 11

    Jaipur - Abhaneri - Agra (5 hours drive)

    After breakfast the trip to Agra by road.

    Travel to Agra. On the way we will visit the Abhaneri village.

    Continue to Agra.

    AGRA: Founded in 1569, fatepurSikri is located at the distance of 37 kms from Agra was a short term capital city of the Mughal empire under the reign of the emperor Akbar. He visited the city to consult a saint and was predicted a birth of an heir to the Mughal dynasty. When prediction came true, Akbar shifted his capital here, and ordered for the construction of grand mosque as a gratitude to the saint. He even built three palaces for his favorite wives. The city was a perfect presentation of Indo Islamic style. The palace has also recorded its name in the world heritage site.

    Day 12

    Agra:

    Sunrise visit at Taj Mahal.

    Taj Mahal: There is not much to say about this architectural wonder that is always the reason-of-being soul for any tourist visit to Agra. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj Mahal is a white marble monument with its beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to complete and was designed and planned by the Persian architect, Apart from its striking balance of striking design and perfect symmetry, the Taj Mahal also stands out especially for its elegant domes, carved wooden screens and some of the finest inlay work ever seen.

    Come back for breakfast.

    Fort of Agra: Built by the famous Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly red sandstone. Inside the fort is the perfect Mosque Pearl Perl, which is a major tourist attraction. It is located on the bend of the Yamuna River, almost in the heart of the city. Akbar built as its citadel through the years 1563-73 in the best architectural style. It is characterized by its imposing doors and walls of red sandstone and a moat.

    After the Agra Fort we will visit the Baby Taj - The interiors of which are considered better than the Taj Mahal.

    Then the Agra heritage walks with the guide.

    Overnight will be spent in Agra.

    Day 13

    Agra - Delhi

    After breakfast, proceed by expressway 3 hours to Delhi: Breakfast at the hotel. Last minute shopping in Delhi before transferring to the airport to take the flight home with sweet memories of colorful Holi festival.
