We start our tour by exploring Old Delhi. Our first visit would be to the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, profoundly known as the Father of Nation. A simple black stone sanatorium which marks the spot of criminationwith an immortal flame burning at one end, as a gratitude to a person who changed the history of this sub-continent and of the world with his great ideologies.

Next we speculate is the impressive sandstone edifice, Red Fort, which was authorized by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1963 and this construction served as the center of operations for at least two centuries. Then we board you on Rickshaw and take you to ride to Jama Masjid, the largest Mosque in Asia, through the intricate lanes of Old Delhi. Speculating the monument from outside, we shall observe the towering domes and skyscrapers which looks like an Arabian Night.

Enjoy the walk of the streets of Chandni Chowk. After lunch a visit to Akshardham temple and lotus temple.

City Palace: the monumental City Palace, situated on the banks of the Lake Pichola built with the fusion of Mughal and Rajasthani style adds to the beauty of this magnificent city. The palace was built over 400 years and was contributed by many dynasties in its construction. Perched on the hilltop the palace provides a scenic view of the city. The largest palace of its kind in the state. The palace comprises of arches, towers, and domes which add to the flavor of the heritage site. The city is a treat to the eyes as it comprises of alluring hanging gardens, terraces, corridors, courtyards, pavilions, and rooms. This monumental structure is built in marble and granite with 11 different palaces built by different emperors, but they are still similar to each other.

Saheliyon Ki Bari: Maharana Sangram Singh builds this in the middle of the 18th century. The 'Garden of the Maidens' brings to mind the lifestyle of the ladies of the court. The beautiful gardens appear discreet and in an impeccable taste. There are four pools with delicate kiosks, and all are flowers, gardens, pools and fountains protected by a series of walls and trees.

Jagdish Temple: The temple is located in the center of the city. The Jagannath Rai Temple, which is now called Jagdish-ji, is an important monument and should be considered carefully. Raised on a high terrace and completed in 1651, it is a tribute to both the tenacity of its builders and the resilience of the art tradition it represents.

Bagore Ki Haveli: This is a very nice old building built on the waterfront of Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat. Amir Chand Badwa, the Mewar Prime Minister was built in the 18th century. Umaid Bhawan Palace: The romantic Umaid Bhawan Palace was built for the purpose of employing the people of Jodhpur, during a prolonged shortage. The royal family of Jodhpur still lives in a part of the palace. Another part of the palace houses a well-preserved museum, displaying an incredible array of Maharajah and royal family elements - weapons, antiques and fascinating watches, crockery and trophies.

Mehrangarh Fort: Situated on a steep hill, Mehrangarh is one of the largest fort in India. The beauty and grandeur of the numerous palaces of the fortress tell a saga of hard sandstones that give the chisels of the skilled sculptors Jodhpuri. Mehrangarh Fort, stretching over 5 km on a perpendicular hill and looking down 125 meters, presents a majestic view on the city skyline. It was built on the advice of a saint in 1459 to establish a sturdy barracks.

Jaswant Thada: Near the fort complex, is Jaswant Thada. This 19th century royal cenotaph, built in white marble, commemorating the Maharaja Jaswant Singh II and other three cenotaphs, standing nearby.

Hawa Mahal: The ornamental facade of this "Palace of the Winds" is an emblem of the city of Jaipur. It is a five-story, pink sandstone structure inlaid with fine trellis plaster and elaborate balconies. The palace has 953 niches and windows. Built in 1799 by Pratap Singh, the Taj was a royal tribune for the women of the palace.

AGRA: Founded in 1569, fatepurSikri is located at the distance of 37 kms from Agra was a short term capital city of the Mughal empire under the reign of the emperor Akbar. He visited the city to consult a saint and was predicted a birth of an heir to the Mughal dynasty. When prediction came true, Akbar shifted his capital here, and ordered for the construction of grand mosque as a gratitude to the saint. He even built three palaces for his favorite wives. Taj Mahal: There is not much to say about this architectural wonder that is always the reason-of-being soul for any tourist visit to Agra. Built by Shah Jahan, the Taj Mahal is a white marble monument with its beautiful wife Mumtaz Mahal. This monument took 22 years to complete and was designed and planned by the Persian architect, Apart from its striking balance of striking design and perfect symmetry, the Taj Mahal also stands out especially for its elegant domes, carved wooden screens and some of the finest inlay work ever seen.

Fort of Agra: Built by the famous Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly red sandstone. Inside the fort is the perfect Mosque Pearl Perl, which is a major tourist attraction. It is located on the bend of the Yamuna River, almost in the heart of the city. Akbar built as its citadel through the years 1563-73 in the best architectural style. It is characterized by its imposing doors and walls of red sandstone and a moat.

After the Agra Fort we will visit the Baby Taj - The interiors of which are considered better than the Taj Mahal.

Agra - Delhi

After breakfast, proceed by expressway 3 hours to Delhi: Breakfast at the hotel. Last minute shopping in Delhi before transferring to the airport to take the flight home with sweet memories of colorful Holi festival.
