    DAY 01

    Delhi Arrival

    Our representative will receive you on arrival at the airport in Delhi and will take you to your hotel.

    New Delhi the capital of India is one of the most charming & happening place in the world. With thousands of sightseeing places like India Gate, Red fort, Jama Masjid and of course The Connaught Place. This city has been beautifully planned with extra greenery to suite your eyes! Delhi is surely the travelers delight.

    Activities:
    If interested we shall take you for architectural visit, Akshardham temple or else you can explore the Delhi lanes and immortalize them in photographs.

    Akshardham temple is a Hindu temple complex, which portrays Hindu religion and Indian cultures, architecture and spirituality. The temples lay down its foundation near the banks of Yamuna and attract a majority of tourist visiting Delhi. This stone crafted temple exhibits the life story of Swami Narayan as well as displays the history of India.

    DAY 02

    Delhi sightseeing

    After the delicious first meal of the day, we shall leave the hotel for full day sightseeing.

    We start our tour by exploring Old Delhi. Our first visit would be to the memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, profoundly known as the Father of Nation. A simple black stone sanatorium which marks the spot of criminationwith an immortal flame burning at one end, as a gratitude to a person who changed the history of this sub-continent and of the world with his great ideologies.

    Next we speculate is the impressive sandstone edifice, Red Fort, which was authorized by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in 1963 and this construction served as the center of operations for at least two centuries. This iconic symbol of India is used as a platform by the Prime Minister of India to address the public and hoist the National flag on Independence Day.

    Then we board you on Rickshaw and take you to ride to Jama Masjid, the largest Mosque in Asia, through the intricate lanes of Old Delhi. Speculating the monument from outside, we shall observe the towering domes and skyscrapers which looks like an Arabian Night.

    After exploring these memorable monuments we pave our way towards New Delhi, which was built in 1930's by Britishers. This side of Delhi is a total contrast to Old Delhi and is also known as Luyten's Delhi because this city was designed by Sir Edwin Luyten. In this comprehended avenue you will explore the magnificent government offices.

    Here we will travel to India Gate, a red sandstone Arch, located on the either side of the Raj path on the edge of the ceremonial axis of New Delhi. It is also known as All India War Memorial and is homage to all those soldiers who died during the First World War. In the middle of The Arch is the Black marble podium with a flame of an immortal soldier leading us to Parliament House, which is the center of operations for the largest democracy in the World.

    Walking a few miles more we shall also speculate residence of the President of India, Rashtrapati Bhawan which is also known for its Mughal Gardens with dazzling fountains. Whereas visitors can enchant its beauty only in the days of autumn.

    We shall end our day by speculating with our raised neck is Qutub Minar, the tallest tower in the country. This magnificent monument is the mark of the first Mughal establishment in the country. The unique feature of this square iron tower is that it never rusts. The tower even consists of the first Mosque that was built in the country If we spare some time from day schedule, then we shall also visit the Lotus Temple located in South Delhi. Flower like shape temple is the mother temple of the Indian subcontinent. This prominent tourist attraction is worth speculating.

    When the moon begins to spread its light in the sky we shall experience and introduce you to Sufism in the little neighborhood of Delhi, Dargah Hazrat Nizamuddin. The magical version shall reveal to us the teachings of Ishq (love), Aql (intelligence) and Ilm (knowledge). And we end our night with a Sufi musical concert popularly Qawwali.

    DAY 03

    Delhi to Jaipur
    By road in 5 hr. (240 Km)

    Early meal in the hotel in New Delhi.

    Start for Jaipur visit by road.

    Reach the capital city of the state, Jaipur and we check into the hotel when the sun is shining brightly in the sky.

    Jaipur, popularly known as the Pink city of the country is the capital and the largest city of the state Rajasthan. The city is recognized as Pink city as the most of buildings in the city are painted with pink color which is a visual treat to the eyes. The city is the sacred vessel of Indian tourism and boast various world renowned monuments. Jaipur is also recognized as the city of Victory is turbulent and gridlocked but it still has the footprints of the rich royal past. Glittering turbans made out of sugar spun wool brightly burn a pathway through brilliantly bargained markets where colorful saris allure the eyes like butterflies.

    The city is the gateway to the desert state is most popular tourist destination across the world.

    This noon you are set free to relax and to explore the city on your own.

    When dusk begins to set, we shall visit the Birla Temple to grab more insight on the religious life of Jaipur. Located at the foot of the Moti dungri Fort, Birla Temple is beautifully lit in the evening, which attracts a flood of tourist attraction. Built 1988 with the finest quality of white marble, this temple is dedicated to lord Vishnu. The stained glass work in the temple depicts the scenes from Hindu scriptures. It is a modern architectural wonder with lush green gardens all round.

    Here you will also be witnessing AARTI ceremony, which is a treat to watch.

    Overnight will be at Jaipur.

    DAY 04

    Jaipur

    After breakfast we move forward for sightseeing to Amber Fort. An elephant ride lifts you up to the Fort.

    Amber Fort: Perched high on the hill, 11 kms from the capital city, the palace is a classic romantic fort with the artistic style of Hindu elements in its architecture. The palace has beautiful fusion of both Hindu and Mughal architecture which is an ultimate feature of this fort.

    Next we go and speculate is Jantar Mantar, astrological devices for individual constellations is one of the largest and best preserved observatories out of five in the country. This observatory was built by Jai Singh II and is a unique experience of walking through solid geometry.

    After a unique walk in solid geometry we refresh our imagination with sightseeing of Hawa Mahal, also famed as the Palace of winds. The place got its name due to the high screen wall of palace with 953 windows through which the women of the palace could witness street festivals but it was not visible from outside. The palace is located on the edge of City palace and is constructed with pink and red sandstone in the year 1799 by Pratap Singh.

    We continue with our sightseeing and move to City Palace.

    City Palace, a seat of the ruler of Jaipur is a complex of palaces with many courtyards and palaces was built by Sawai Jai Singh II between 1729 to 1732 AD. The architecture of the palace is a great combination of three dynasties, namely, Mughal, Rajput and European. The palace comprises of two famous palaces known Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal. Whereas today Chandra Mahal has been turned into a museum, which portrays various uniforms, handcrafted products and lifestyle of royal families.

    DAY 05

    Jaipur – Agra
    By Road 260 kms in 06hrs

    We commute to Agra after breakfast.

    Founded in 1569, Fatepur Sikri is located at the distance of 37 kms from Agra was a short term capital city of the Mughal empire under the reign of the emperor Akbar. He visited the city to consult a saint and was predicted a birth of an heir to the Mughal dynasty. When prediction came true, Akbar shifted his capital here, and ordered for the construction of grand mosque as a gratitude to the saint. He even built three palaces for his favorite wives. The city was a perfect presentation of Indo Islamic style. The palace has also recorded its name in the world heritage site.

    Reach Agra and stay in a hotel.

    Agra also dubbed as Saga love is an ancient city as the place find it in the pages of the Mahabharata, but the city drew main attention during the Mughal Dynasty. Agra is a famous city across the globe as it boasts one of the Seven Wonders of the World, The Taj Mahal. Every tourist gets allured by the contrasting structures of red sandstone and white marble, the intricate lanes and old fashioned buggies is still the charm of the city.

    In the late evening we shall speculate enticing shows which depict the Mughal era - Mohabatt e Taj.

    Mohabatt e Taj is the world of romance and immortal love of the great love story of the emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz that has been personified in the form of dance and drama. This performance takes us to the 16th century and portrays us the profuse lifestyle of Mughal era. The memorable part of the show is a replica of the Taj Mahal in Makrana marble weighing 8,500 kg with inlay work which presents various moods and shades, very similar to the original Taj Mahal.

    This show is worth speculating as it is an effort to hold up the historical and cultural legacy of India.

    DAY 06

    Agra

    Like an early bird we move forward toa Sunrise visit to the monument of love, Taj Mahal.

    We speculate world heritage site, Taj Mahal, one of the most captivating and dazzling monument built by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz as a final resting place. It took over 22 years of hard labor of 20,000 workers to build this perfect symmetrical monument. This Seven Wonders of the World was built by a Persian architect Ustad Ahmad Lahauri. It is also famed for its elegant domes, finely carved screens, and for best inlay work.

    After a visit to monument of eternal love, we return back to our hotel for breakfast.

    Then we move forward for the sightseeing of Agra.

    After glaring at the citadel of Akbar we proceed further to visit baby Taj. An impressive tomb in white marble, built by Nur Jahan, in memory of her father Ghias-ud-Din Beg, who was entitled to the title of ‘Itimad-ud-Daulah’ meaning ‘Pillar of the Government’.
    Our next stop after breakfast is the cenotaph of the Mughal emperor Akbar, Sikandra. Situated in the outskirts of the Agra city, the emperor started the construction of his tomb during his lifetime, but later it was completed by his son Jahangir. The monument featured manicured lawns with finely carved gateways and white marble cenotaph. This monument perfectly imbibes the best of Hindu, Christian, Islamic, Buddhist, Jain motifs, signifying the new religion started by Akbar – the DEEN E ILAHI.

    After speculating this beautiful monument we proceed further to glare at Agra Fort, an imperialistic fort situated on the banks of the Yamuna which was authorized by Emperor Akbar. It encloses numerous palaces and houses like the Moti Masjid, Diwan-I-Am, Diwan-I-Khas, Musamman Burj, Jehangiri Mahal, Khaas Mahal, Sheesh Mahal etc. It is the finest architectural monument built in red sandstone.

    Then walk on the other side of Yamuna for the heritage walk with our professional guide.

    The other side Yamuna is comprised of the history of Mughal Agra where various developments of Mughal dynasty can be witnessed along with significant views of Taj Mahal.

    Appreciate the extensive hospitality of the local villagers sipping a cup of Masala Chai on the Tea Terrace with standard, comfortable, clean, affordable, and safe facilities. The whole village walk through India’s Mughal History and amiable people is an unforgettable experience.

    DAY 07

    Agra - Jhansi

    Jhansi – Orchha – Khajuraho
    By road 175 kms in 04hr

    Breakfast in the hotel.

    Transfer to the railway station to board the train to Jhansi.

    Reach Jhansi and then drive to Panna enrouting Orchha.

    We stop at medieval legacy in stone; Orchha, which has captured its dignity in stone and has frozen in time with the rich legacy since ages. This monument still retains its perfection since it was built in 16th and 17th centuries by Bundela rulers. Achieving the excellent measurements of their exteriors are interiors which symbolize the finest flowering of the Bundela School of painting. The walls and ceiling in Raj Mahal and Laxminaryan Temple are brought to rich life with murals of various religious themes. Various memorials and shrines that are scattered around the area add a charm to the beauty of Orchha.

    Continue our drive to Khajuraho. Reach Khajuraho and check into the hotel.

    Khajuraho Its name comes from the word Kajur in Hindi language which means 'date palm". Here we can see the largest set of Hindu temples of the country, famous for their erotic sculptures (famously known as Kama Sutra). The entire area is walled, with eight doors that allow the entrance to the complex. Each one of these doors is flanked by two palm trees. Originally there were about 80 temples of the remaining 22 in a good state of preservation.
    The temples were built in a space of time of about a hundred years, between the 950 and the 1050 and are considered by UNESCO as World Heritage Site.

    Activities: We will visit the Western and Eastern group of temples which contains sculptures of lovers and women playing various musical instruments or performing actions such as make-up or bathing, temples decorated with erotic sculptures. See a giant statue of Lord Vishnu at the Chaturbhuja Temple.
    In the evening we will enjoy the Light and Sound Show in the temple complex.

    DAY 08

    Khajuraho – Varanasi
    By Flight

    Enjoy the first meal of the day at the Hotel.

    Dazzle yourself with serene environment of the hotel.

    Later we drive to Khajuraho Airport and take off to Varanasi.

    Reach Varanasi and check into the Hotel.

    Varanasi, the city of temples and Ghats, is an utmost travel destination of the country over the centuries. It is one of the oldest living cities in the world. Varanasi attracts tourist who come to enjoy the mystical divinity. It is believed that one who takes his or her last breath gets the freedom from the complicated cycle of life and death so it is regarded as the Holiest cities for Hindus in the country. It is believed that the place has magical spells, but it is not faint hearted.

    When sunset begins to set, we shall witness Aarti at the Ghats of Varanasi. The chants of religious hymns by priests, the sound of conch shells, bells, gongs, the smell of camphor and incense sticks will mesmerize you as you sit by the dark waters of the ancient river. Your guide will be on hand to explain the proceedings and the significance of the Vedic hymns recited by the priests.

    Overnight will be at Varanasi.

    DAY 09

    Varanasi

    Like an early bird we shall start our day with a drive to Daswamedh Ghat and take a boat ride on the holy water of River Ganga. We explore Cremination Ghats to speculate the live rituals of the world’s most important religions.

    For you to enchant the beauty of this holy city we shall board you off on the banks of River Ganga.

    Board the boat with your guide and you will be in the middle of the river and here you speculate the sun, unfolding its sight of sunrise in front of you. And at the background you will experience thousands of pilgrims worshipping sunrise and having a bath in the holy waters.

    We return at Ghat and walk through the paved streets of the banks of River Ganga.

    Experience the death ceremony rituals.

    Time for the shops to open, the market becomes a beehive of activities with the flood of tourist.

    Return for breakfast to the hotel.

    Stroll around famous sari markets of the city. Board yourself for a rickshaw ride from the city to the Chowk witnessing the main markets of the city.

    We get down at Chowk and shall explore various markets by strolling in the streets.

    We shall cover:-
    • The wedding market (Kinari Bazaar)
    • Kachori Galli (lane of kachoris, these are deep-fried snacks very popular in Varanasi)
    • Khoa Galli (this lane sells milk products including paneer and condensed, sweetened milk)
    • Vishwanath Galli (the most famous of all lanes in Varanasi).

    Next we stop at Benaras Hindu University covering the area of 400 acres and is the largest residential universities in Asia. The complex features an art gallery and a mosque of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb.
    After we shall move forward to Sarnath, a well-known Buddhist site and a popular tourist destination that is worth a visit. The place got its fame after Buddha delivered its first sermon after attaining enlightenment after 2500 years. It is one of the holiest place in Asia.
    We shall explore a museum that features antiquities dating back to 3rd century BC.

    We even visit the textile village where will discover artisan with their set up and daily activity.

    Overnight will be at Varanasi.

    DAY 10

    Varanasi – Delhi - Departure

    Enjoy leisurely breakfast in the hotel.

    On our arrival in Delhi we will visit the famous Dilli Haat, an exotic and very picturesque bazaar with big variety of art & crafts from different parts of the country all together at one place. Here you will get a variety of things ranging from carved sandalwood, handlooms, jewelry, craft metals etc. If you have forgotten to take some souvenir from India for any of your friends or family, then this is the place.

    Transfer to airport for a flight to Delhi.
